Rite of Eucharistic Devotion

I attended New Orleans' Young Adult Christ in the City tonight, and it was as usual, a wonderful experience of worship to our Lord. Throughout Lent, I have been contemplating how to simplify my life. Quite simply, I own too many things, I am distracted by too many news and sports articles, and I have too many things I want to do on a daily basis.

How can I simplify my life so as to listen to the voice of God even more? How can I make sure not to miss what he is telling me? With these questions on my heart, we ended our Eucharistic Adoration tonight with the Rite of Eucharistic Devotion (Reposition). I was struck by the simplicity of it. With so many things competing for our attention in this day and age, this prayer quietly reminded me of exactly what is most important:

Blessed be God.
Blessed be His Holy Name.
Blessed be Jesus Christ, true God and true man.
Blessed be His Most Precious Blood.
Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar.
Blessed be the Holy Spirit, the Consoler.
Blessed be the great Mother of God, Mary most holy.
Blessed be her holy and Immaculate Conception.
Blessed be her glorious assumption.
Blessed be the name of Mary, virgin and mother.
Blessed be Saint Joseph, her most chaste spouse.
Blessed be God in His angels and in His saints.
