Whenever I sin and deliberately turn away from God's will--either by spending an entire day only thinking about me and my problems, or choosing not to pray because I'm "too busy" with worldly matters, or committing any one of the vices St. Paul warns about in his Letters--I truly feel brokenhearted. I often feel hopeless to succumbing to the distractions of the devil.
This is how I know I am renewing my relationship with Christ, falling deeper and deeper in love with the WORD of God. That's why this Psalm from today's reading struck me so hard. I am so blessed to be loved so abundantly by God.
